We Need To Take The Chinese Space Program Seriously

Yesterday I spent a lot of time researching the Chinese space program. The results were surprising. The program has had some great accomplishments, including orbiting a manned space station, probes on the moon, and probes on Mars. They also have had an atrocious safety record with serious fatality events up to 500 Chinese citizens and major property damage in both China and other countries. If we are not careful, they will claim the best parts of the moon for themselves. We need to take this plan seriously and work hard to reestablish a Western presence on the moon.
